Finally!

OK... I know once again I have neglected you all and failed to share pictures and stories of my wonderful, beautiful children. I must say things have been a little crazy but that is no excuse because Brandi has still had the chance to blog everyday (thanks Brandi.)
So we are home and everyone is wonderful. Gentry is probably our best baby yet. He is very content and we only get to hear him cry when he is hungry. He is probably our most talkative baby though we get constant noises from him. Our favorite is his gorilla impersonation that only happens in the middle of the night.

Our 3 muchkins!

Bryer LOVES being the big sister. He is the first thing she asks about in the morning and we end the night with her talking about him. She is constantly asking to hold him and always rushes to his side if she hears even the littlest peep.

Emerson had a bit of a rough transition at first. He was not ready to give up his title as "baby." He would want me to hold him instead of Gentry so he would run over to me and yell, "Mommy" and then gesture with his hand for me to put Gentry down. He seems to be doing a bit better now. We get our occasional object flying through the air towards Gentry but all and all he is getting better. I think more than the change of bringing Gentry home he is entering his "Terrible Twos" and let me tell you we are in for a wild ride.
Scott went back to work on Monday and I was a little worried. I mean the logistics of taking 3 children to the store scared me. Especially since 2 of them need to ride in the cart, 2 need to be carried and it rains here 90% of the time. However, the kids and I have ventured out a few times and thus far everything is great. I mean it does take a little longer, small shopping carts (Joann's and Michaels) suck, and when Bryer or Emerson fall asleep in the car we need to just head home.
Other than that we are doing wonderful.

Scott with the kids all asleep!
Scott almost finished the nursery on his 2 weeks off. When it is complete I will get pictures of for you guys. Hopefully this weekend we can get our Formal Living and Dining room painted so we can get our Christmas tree and put it up. I have decorated a bit but this year Christmas has just crept up on us. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all so instead of being crazy and trying to get it all done I have done nothing. I am optimistic that it will not rain this weekend [it will rain all weekend] so Scott can put lights up, our painting will get done and all decorating will be complete. hahah.

It begins!

So I am standing in front of Toys R Us for a black Friday sale that starts early. The good news is that I am in front of the store so I can see in the store. I am literally like 3 feet from the entrance. The bad news is that I am not at the front of the line. I am in about the middle of a line that goes completely around the building and then back around half way. At least it is 36°. Yesterday at this time it was only around 20°. Should have worn my North Face jacket with thermals.

Boo or should I say Moo!

Happy Halloween! Today we spent most of the day relaxing. I was able to get a nap in. We watched the football game, the kids played. Then of course we went out to Trick or Treat. This year we all dressed up as a family which was very fun.

Bryer loves Trick or Treating. Emerson doesn't care about the candy being put in his bag just about how fast he can take the candy out of the bag and put it in his mouth.

[When we got back Emerson decided to dress up like a Zombie. A candy Zombie.]

Yesterday was spent running errands and mailing gifts out to some people that are having babies very soon. ( Your packages should all be to you be Tuesday. I hope you all enjoy.) While we were out and about Bryer got a Police Officer dress up set. Emerson hated it!

Emerson has also thought it is very funny and cute lately to use his feet to help him eat.

Get a load of these brackets.

[So I guess I am supposed to use brackets. But, do I need to use brackets if I am posting the entire passage? I thought I would share my day with you since I stayed home. I woke up at the crack of 9:30 and then went and got Emerson up. He has been sick this last week with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease (the uninitiated can Google it) so he has been the perfect picture of misery. Blisters and ulcers in your mouth preventing you from eating or drinking would make you cranky too. Fortunately he is on the better side of it now so today was a good day. Bryer came down stairs at about 10:30 and wanted to watch Ice Age 3. Instead, we watched Rocky Horror Picture Show. I fast forwarded it past some of the more racy stuff and Bryer just thought Tim Curry's character was a girl so really it was just a bunch of singing and dancing which she and Emerson love. It warmed my heart to see my children doing the time warp. Later it was off to Costco to get a tire replaced on the Durango and then to the doctor for me. Good news, most of the blisters on my eardrum are gone. The doctor still has no idea how they got there in the first place but oh well. My money is on ear herpes. After that, dinner at Claim Jumper (no Chris, I did not eat an entire I Declare by myself again) and now back at home doing this. That is my day thus far.
Perhaps I shall post again soon. We shall see.]

I know, I know....

OK so I officially suck at blogging. I have a lot to update you all on and I am hope I don't forget anything. So since my last (and only) post we have moved. Yes, I know a shocker to some of you. We got the opportunity to move into a bigger house so we took it. Upon moving in we decided to paint most of the rooms in the house plus try and move out of our other house. Needless to say we were really busy for a 2 week period. One night Scott and I went to our old house to finish cleaning up and to clean the carpets and we got there at 2pm and Scott left the next morning at 8am. We are all moved into the new house now, not all unpacked yet but moved in.

Here is our front door/porch decorated for Autumn.

Bryer has started preschool. She goes Mondays and Wednesdays for 2 hours in the morning. She loves it. Every week they do a different letter of the alphabet. She is learning The Pledge of Allegiance and new songs. It has been good for her to interact with kids her age more. We have done one field trip with her class to the pumpkin patch.

Emerson is a terror. Full on terror. Between climbing, hitting, pushing and lack of a vocabulary I want to lose my mind some days. However, his good moments of comedy, cleverness and cuteness make up for all the, for lack of a better word, "bad" moments.

Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch this year started off well. Overcast and chance of showers. About 1/2 thru the trip the chance of showers turned into rain. I know surprise surprise we live in WA and it is raining. At the point of rain Scott was over our visit and just wanted to leave. (Here is where I add cool parenthetical sentences like Chris. I was over the pumpkin patch before I ever got in the car. It rains every year, it is muddy, I have to wheel around 70 pounds of pumpkins while we look at every pumpkin God ever made, then to top it all off I get to pay 10 times what I would pay if I had just purchased the pumpkins at a grocery store like everyone else. P.S. Ask me how many times Emerson "fell" in the mud.) I insisted on picking up some different varieties of pumpkins and squash so he took the kids in the activity barn to play and visit with the animals. After the Pumpkin Patch we went to a cafe with the fam for brunch.

The night prior to our yearly excursion to the Pumpkin Patch I found a yellow female lab friend for Kobo on craigslist. I emailed the owner to find out if we could meet the puppy. It was going to work out so well since both the puppy and the Pumpkin Patch were in Orting, WA. We did not hear from the owner until we got in the car from the cafe to come home. He said we could stop by and visit with the puppy "Mya." To make a long story short that day we brought home a new female yellow lab (whom we have renamed "Kinder") so that Kobo had a friend.

Scott is officially 1 year older. We celebrated his birthday yesterday. We didn't do much. He worked and I stayed home with the kids. We got him a Pumpkin Cheesecake from Olive Garden because he loves it. When he came home he made dinner ( I know.... Emerson is sick so I was holding him. He wanted nothing to do with Scott.) We ate and then had cheesecake. Watched a little TV (The Rocky Horror GLEE Show) and went to bed. Exciting night, don't be to jealous.

Lastly, I am almost 36 weeks along. I am tired, uncomfortable and ready for this pregnancy to be over with. This is the only pregnancy for me thus far where I am having contractions. With Bryer and Emerson I feel like I could have been pregnant forever had the Dr. not induced me. With this pregnancy I feel like I might actually go into labor before I schedule an induction day. We will see. My mom thinks it will happen before Thanksgiving.
